5 tablespoon oil
1 stick cinnamon
3 green cardamom pods
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 big onion, roughly chopped
1 inch ginger, roughly chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
5 tablespoon cup coconut milk
salt to taste
Preparation and Cooking Steps
1. Pour in oil and heat it in a large pan. Add in the cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon and cumin seeds and fry for about 15 seconds in the pan.
2. Add in chopped onion, ginger and minced garlic in pan and fry until becoming lightly golden in color.
3. Put in chili powder, tomato paste, curry powder, sugar and salt and Stir for 1 minute.
4. Add in coconut milk and chicken pieces. Reduce heat and cook for 30 minutes.
5. Ready to serve!
